Highschool learns about survival abilities : My Espanola Now

In partnership with Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op and the Outside Journey Management program at Laurentian College, 50 college students and academics from Espanola Excessive College not too long ago attended SOAR – Sudbury Outside Journey Reels, a movie competition celebrating the connection with the nice outside.

College students watched the documentary Keepers of the Path and held a Q&A session with filmmaker David Hartman and Kielyn Marrone from Espanola who was a finalist in season 7 of Alone.

Hartman’s movie follows a bunch of 9 winter travellers as they stroll north between Canada’s two nice rail traces utilizing conventional strategies handed down over the a long time to outlive.

Espanola Excessive College is dedicated to its Outside Schooling program and to furthering their dedication to defending, celebrating, and studying from the pure setting.

The sphere journey was a part of this dedication as a Platinum stage Eco College by way of Eco Faculties Canada.
